Artesians Take Third at the Evergreen Cup

TUKWILA, Wash. – The Oly Town Artesians dropped a 3-2 decision to the Seattle Stars and settled for a 1-1 draw against the Tri-Cities Alliance on Saturday at the Eddie Craggs Memorial Evergreen Cup at Starfire. Angel Trejo-Delgado scored twice for Oly Town and Issa Hassan added his first goal of the preseason but both games featured last minute goals that ultimately kept Oly out of the championship game on Sunday. The Artesians finished the tournament in third place with a 1-1-1 record and 16 tournament points.

The Artesians return to preseason action on Saturday, April 22nd against NCAA Division II Saint Martin’s at the Saint Martin’s Soccer Field at 12:30 PM. The regular season kicks off on Saturday, May 5th in Bellingham before the home opener on Sunday, May 13th at 4:00 PM at Black Hills High School.
