OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Oly Town Artesians are excited to announce that downtown Olympia’s brand new Well 80 Artesian Brewing Company has been named the Official Brewpub of the Artesians. Well 80 will host Artesians players, staff and fans after each home game and the Artesians will wear Well 80 branded warm up jerseys this season.
The partnership between the Artesians and Well 80 makes perfect sense and has been brewing since the original planning of Well 80. Owned by longtime Artesians supporter Chris Knudson of Casa Mia fame, Well 80 is a new brewery and brewpub on 4th Avenue in downtown Olympia built on the site of one of Oly’s famous artesian wells. Their delicious beer is brewed with water from Well 80, the artesian well discovered in their building, and honors the rich brewing tradition of Olympia. Since opening their all-ages restaurant and brewpub in March, Well 80 has quickly become one of the most popular and well regarded gathering places in the South Sound.

The Oly Town Artesians were founded in 2014 and the name and logos were inspired by the very same artesian wells and brewing history that inspired Well 80. Entering their second year in the outdoor Evergreen Premier League, the Artesians are thrilled to partner with a bunch of fellow Well Heads and soccer fans and celebrate our home games at Well 80 with our players and supporters.
The Artesians will feature Well 80 on their warm ups and a limited number will be available for purchase by fans at the home opening game on Sunday, May 13th. First kick for the Mother’s Day Special at Black Hills High School is set for 4:00 PM. All moms in attendance will receive a flower and there will be contests and prizes throughout the game.
