The Oly Town Artesian’s on the heels of the Western Indoor Soccer League’s announcement of the 2021-22 season are welcoming a pair of familiar faces to helm the Men’s Indoor Program. Nate Boatright, a veteran of the Artesian Premier Outdoor and Indoor Men’s program takes over as head skipper of Artesians. Joining him this season is brother Nick Boatright who joins the indoor team when recently assisting Jason Gjertsen after a successful Artesian summer campaign in the EPLWA and Super Cup competitions. This is the first Western Indoor League Season since the Covid-19 shutdown in early 2020.
Nate Boatright signs with Oly Town to be the head coach with try-outs occurring this weekend October 9th and 10th at the Evergreen State College Pavilion, 5-7PM. Boatright’s commitment comes after years of incredible production on the field playing for the Artesian Indoor Team including serving as Captain posting years of award winning play. Boatright earned several team accolades and won multiple “WISL Player of the Week” merits.
“Nate brings a level of experience that a lot of folks do not have in this region, and that’s extensive competitive indoor minutes. Nate’s been with the club a long time and has had success going against the top teams in the WISL through the years. Excited to see Nate’s team come November when league play begins” from the Artesians front office, Ryan Perkins.
Assistant Coach duties are with local high school and college coach Nick Boatright who recently took on duties at Evergreen State College and continues to direct the Timberline High School soccer program. Nick successfully helped the Artesian’s Premier Outdoor team in 2021 to a playoff run in both the Evergreen Premier League and Super Cup.
