OLYMPIA, WA – It was another long weekend for Oly Town as both the women’s NWPL and men’s USL2 teams traveled to Oregon. NWPL faced off again Capital FC Athletica while USL2 played Lane United in Eugene. The men’s EPLWA team traveled up north to play the Everett Jets.
In Oly Town’s NWPL match, it wasn’t until 10′ into the second 45’ that Capital FC scored on an Oly Town mishap and went up 1-0.

The entire first half was a head-to-head battle, Delaney Smith had an outstanding defensive game earning her the Van Dorm Realty Player of the Game. While the game was an even match throughout, Oly Town was unable to recover a goal and ended the game down 1-0.
In Eugene, the Men’s USL2 team went down early 1-0 against Lane United. In the 24′, Lane United received a PK, but goalkeeper Sawyer Price made an outstanding save keeping it a single goal game.
