
OLYMPIA, WA – It was a soccer filled Saturday at Black Hills High School with NWPL, EPLWA, and USL2 all playing for a triple header! NWPL qualified for the Championship match vs. Capital FC Athletica, USL2 got their first win of the season earning them 3 points, and EPLWA took a loss.
Going into Saturday’s game – 3 points up on Vancouver Victory, this game was set to determine who would face off against Undefeated Capital FC Athletics in the Championship game.
After a scoreless first half, Brooke Streeter opened the scoring in the 47′. Moments later in the 50′ Streeter got her second of the night off of a PK.
Nicole Fesenbek scored the third and final goal for Oly Town in the 65′ giving them the 3-0 win over Vancouver Victory. Oly Town will head to Oregon next to play CFC in the Championship! Stay tuned for Match Day details.

To top off the night, the Men’s USL2 team faced PDX FC for the second time of the season – this time in Olympia.
Oly Town came out strong, and in the 19′, Sebastian Navarro blasted one into the upper left corner to give Oly Town the 1-0 advantage!
In the 66′ Oly Town earned a PK – taken by Gilbert De La Luz. Suddenly, Oly Town was up 2-0.
Nearing the end of the match, PDX successfully lessened the gap 2-1 and attempted to score the equalizer in the last fifteen of the game. PDX had great opportunities, but none finished through. Oly Town rang in their first win of the season and added 3 points to their record.

The Men’s EPLWA battled hard but were ultimately beaten by The Everett Jets. In the 12′, Everett opened the scoring and went up 1-0.
Oly Town tried to gain a goal on Everett in the second half but were unsuccessful. Everett scored twice before the end of the match and went up 3-0.
The NWPL Championship game is TBA. USL2 will travel to John Chambers field on Friday, June 24th to play against Capital FC at 7PM. EPLWA plays at Black Hills High School on Sunday, June 26th vs. Northstar Bellevue.
