PORTLAND, OR – The Artesians head to Portland Sunday, June 18th to face division rival United PDX in what will be their third meeting of the 2023 USL W League regular season. The series sits in Oly Town’s favor at 1-0-1 as the Artesians won 3-1 in Portland after a 2-2 draw in Olympia back in May.

Oly Town has a plethora of goal scorers leading the pack including 3 from Mariah Lee and 2 goals from Alexis Washington, McKenna Martinez and Maddie Kemp. The Artesians have fielded 4 goalkeepers to date including Penn State’s Kat Asman, Ole Miss goalkeeper Shu Ohba, Utah State’s Diera Walton and University of Washington keeper Megan Nail.

Oly Town currently sits at #14 in the USL W League nation at 4-0-1 with United PDX hanging just behind at 4-1-1. The match up will set a precedence for who will enter the second half of the season in a playoff seed at number one for the division. The Northwest side of the USL W League is paired with Northern California with top teams such as Oakland Soul and the San Francisco Glenn’s.
Oly Town looks to create separation today. Today’s match will decide who squarely sits in first or second and in the hunt for a divisional first place seat and the wild card seat with Northern California.
Much to see today as United PDX will be livestreaming the match should folks be unable to attend the match at the Episcopal School in Beaverton, Oregon a suburb of Portland.
