OLYMPIA, WA – The USL W League inaugural season came to a close as the Artesians won 3-1 against Capital Atletica from Salem, Oregon. Oly Town finishes the season with a 8-0-2 record which is now the most successful team in the clubs history across all programs including arena and outdoor soccer since 2014.
Sophia Green from the University of Nebraska-Omaha had two goals in her name as well as Maia Tabion adding one to the score sheet. Diera Walton and Megan Nail split the game at goalkeeper for the Artesians to close out the final match of the season.
USL W League Playoff
Oly Town now travels to San Francisco, California to compete in the USL W West Coast Finals which features the Oakland Soul, California Storm and the San Francisco Glenns. Oly Town enters the playoff as the #1 seed which is based off points per match. The Artesians travel 700 miles to Davis, CA to play a #4 seed on their home field this Friday night July 7th.
