OLYMPIA, WA – The Artesians had a bye in week three of Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) play but returned fresher than ever with a victory over the visiting WISL newcomer Snohomish Sky Saturday night at the Evergreen State Pavilion. Oly Town sat in second place in the St Helen’s Division going into the match on Saturday with South Sound FC in first place and the Vancouver Lightning in third.

Snohomish would draw first blood against the Artesians in the 6th minute as Antino Belizzi found the back of the net to put Sky up 1-0. Isaiah Damschen getting the starting nod from Coach Nick Boatright at keeper was faced with several point blank shots but made several saves to hold the margin at one in the first period.
Oly Town would record two goals in the second period with Calvin Boyal in the 12th minute and Gavin McLeroy in the 9th. The Artesian defense led by Captain Nate Boatright was a stalwart making several key blocks and transitions out of the back to the Oly Town forwards.
The game would turn into a landslide victory in front of a standing room only Pavilion crowd at the Evergreen State College as Oly Town records 4 goals in the 3rd Period and 5 goals in the 4th period.
Isaiah Damschen came up big in the 4th period with an incredible penalty kick save that secured the victory.
