The first half of the Oly Town Artesians’ Evergreen Premier League season came to an end with their first loss of the season, a 4-0 struggle against the Seattle Stars at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila. Quinn Width was there and delivered this photo gallery. Thanks Quinn!

The Artesians kick off the second half with two tough games this weekend, starting with a home tilt at Black Hills High School against the Tri-Cities Alliance on Saturday night at 6:00 PM. It’s another Wembley Soccer Shop Youth Soccer Night, with kids in uniform getting in for $2 off a regular priced ticket.

They then travel to Vancouver for a Father’s Day against the Vancouver Victory at the Harmony Sports Complex. First kick is set for 5:00 PM on Sunday night.

With their goals in a 4-1 win over the Spokane Shadow on Saturday night, Daniel Gonzalez and Christian Segovia tied JT Meyer and Surf Wodajo for the most goals in Artesians outdoor EPLWA history. All four players have three goals, and Gonzalez and Segovia each have three in the 2018 season. Gonzalez scored twice in the game and chipped in an assist, and current Olympia High School senior Kahlil Bredeson made an immediate impact with a goal and an assist while playing all 90 minutes in his first game with Oly Town.

The win moved the unbeaten Artesians to 2-0-2 this season with a trip to take on our Coastal Division rivals Seattle Stars on tap for next Sunday at Starfire. First kick is set for 6:00 PM.

It was an incredibly hot and sun baked mid-May day and the action on the field matched the weather. Jared Wenzelburger was on hand and captured this photo gallery of the Artesians 2-1 win over the Seattle Stars. It was the first win in Artesians history over the Stars and catapulted them into first place in the Evergreen Premier League’s Coastal Division.

The Artesians took on NPSL side OSA FC late Monday night in an intense, tough scrimmage at Black Hills High School. Daniel Gonzalez and Charlie Spurr each scored twice and Alan Ibarra added a goal in Oly’s 5-3 victory. It was the final tuneup of the preseason and the Artesians travel to Bellingham to take on Bellingham United on Saturday afternoon at 5:00 PM to open the EPLWA regular season.

The home slate opens on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13th at 4:00 PM at Black Hills High School. All moms in attendance will get a flower and there will be games and prizes throughout the contest against the Seattle Stars. Tickets are just $8 for adults, $5 for kids 5-12 years old, military and seniors, and kids under 5 are free. Advanced tickets can be purchased at www.olytownfc.com/tickets.

TUKWILA, Wash. – The Oly Town Artesians dropped a 3-2 decision to the Seattle Stars and settled for a 1-1 draw against the Tri-Cities Alliance on Saturday at the Eddie Craggs Memorial Evergreen Cup at Starfire. Angel Trejo-Delgado scored twice for Oly Town and Issa Hassan added his first goal of the preseason but both games featured last minute goals that ultimately kept Oly out of the championship game on Sunday. The Artesians finished the tournament in third place with a 1-1-1 record and 16 tournament points.

The Artesians return to preseason action on Saturday, April 22nd against NCAA Division II Saint Martin’s at the Saint Martin’s Soccer Field at 12:30 PM. The regular season kicks off on Saturday, May 5th in Bellingham before the home opener on Sunday, May 13th at 4:00 PM at Black Hills High School.

TJ O’Connor scored three goals and chipped in three assists for the Oly Town Artesians in their 8-4 win over the Oly Legends in a friendly on Austin Kelley Night on January 27th. The two teams honored the memory of Austin Kelley in front of a fantastic crowd and handed out team awards for the 2017 outdoor EPLWA season. Josh Dube scored twice and Esau Vazquez and Joshua Southall each added goals for the Artesians. The game included goals by Randy Garcia, Tom Arndt, Jake Sanford and Daniele Zaccagnini for the Legends.
