Oly Town FC hosts talented soccer players from around the world in Thurston County to join our USL League Two and USL W League squads. Many USL2 and USL W soccer players move on to become professional soccer players both domestically and abroad. Oly Town needs help from our local families to help host these players May 7th to July 14th 2023 for a short time this next summer!
Having host families helps Oly Town first and foremost, win! It absolutely helps grow our path to professional soccer club. The program is special for the host families as many create bonds to players that go on for years to come. Kid’s get inspired and parents feel like they are a part of an athletes path to pro.
Details
- Players typically arrive by May 10th and could stay through July 15th, some may arrive or depart earlier, depending on their college soccer schedule.
- You will not be solely responsible for providing a car or driving the player. Oly Town will work to arrange any transportation needs for the player.
- Oly Town will work for and with you to make sure all boxes are checked. Biggest need is for families who would be willing to host from mid-May until the first week of July.
- Oly Town traveling players will be required to help out and be a helpful housemate while in your home. Conduct will be reviewed every two weeks to ensure positive outcomes.
- Players mostly just need a bed. Food if it cannot be provided can be arranged by the club. Our hope is that meals can be provided though!
- Oly Town can work around your summer vacations and your comfort level.

- Two (2) Season Tickets to all Home Matches to watch your host player compete at the highest path-to-pro soccer level.
- We will also provide Two (2) Tickets to all Away Matches your host player is rostered for on the road.
