Artesians Announce 2018-2019 WISL Schedule

OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Oly Town Artesians will play their regular season opener on Saturday, November 17th when they host the Western Indoor Soccer League’s newest member, Tacoma Narrows FC, at The Pavilion at The Evergreen State College. It is the first of ten regular season games for the Artesians as announced by the WISL this week.

With the addition of Narrows FC, the WISL returns to a six team league for its fifth season and each team will play five home games. The Artesians play three of their first four games on their home turf but then hit the road for four straight before finishing things off with two home games in a row, including a visit from three-time WISL champion Bellingham United in the regular season finale.

January 5 – at Tacoma Stars Reserves – Tacoma Soccer Center – 6:00 PM
January 12 – at Snohomish Skyhawks – Snohomish Soccer Dome – Time: TBA
January 19 – at Tacoma Narrows – Tacoma Soccer Center – 8:00 PM
January 26 – vs. Oly-Pen Force – Evergreen Pavilion – 6:30 PM
February 2 – vs. Bellingham United – Evergreen Pavilion – 6:30 PM

Oly’s home field is The Pavilion at The Evergreen State College, a unique campus facility that received a $1 million renovation over the summer that included a new roof, new siding and interior improvements that will make the building much more inviting for players and fans. The field is the smallest field in the WISL but features the best site lines and the best atmosphere in the league and the Artesians are dedicated to putting on the best show in the WISL this season.

The Artesians will get their first competitive action next Saturday at the WISL Preseason Tournament, hosted by the Oly-Pen Force at the Oly-Pen Sports Center in Bremerton. The first games are set to kick off midday. A full schedule will be posted this week.
